Terms of sale

Short version: you pay once and get the Tickwise jar, updates for the current version line and support on Discord. All sales are final. Back up your world before switching.
01What you're buying
A Tickwise purchase ("the Product") is a one-time payment of $50 USD through BuiltByBit. It includes:
- Download access to Tickwise server builds for Minecraft 1.21.8 and above, for the version line current at the time of purchase, including all updates released for that line.
- The setup guide.
- Support through the Tickwise Discord server.
A "version line" means the Minecraft version Tickwise targets when you buy it. Builds for a later version line may be sold separately; we'll say so clearly on the product page before it happens.
02License
Tickwise is a fork of Paper and builds on the work of Paper, Purpur, Gale and Leaf, which are licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.0.
Your payment buys access to our builds, updates and support. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the licenses of the projects Tickwise is based on.
The name "Tickwise", the logo and this website belong to us. Please don't use them in a way that suggests a modified version is ours.
03Payment and delivery
Purchases are processed and delivered by BuiltByBit. Their terms and payment policies also apply to your purchase. You'll get access to the download on BuiltByBit as soon as your payment clears.
04Refunds
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds. Tickwise is a digital product that is delivered as soon as your payment clears.
If Tickwise doesn't run on your server, or a plugin that works on Paper doesn't work on Tickwise, open a ticket in our Discord and we'll help you fix it. Chargebacks filed without contacting us first may lead to loss of access to updates and support.
Nothing here limits any refund rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country.
05Support
Support is provided on a best-effort basis through Discord. It covers installing Tickwise, migrating from Paper, and problems caused by Tickwise itself. Custom tuning for large networks is offered separately as Tickwise Pro.
06No warranty
Tickwise is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Always back up your world and configuration before switching server software or installing updates. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for data loss, downtime or lost revenue arising from your use of Tickwise.
07Trademarks
Tickwise is not affiliated with, endorsed by or associated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB. Paper, Purpur, Gale and Leaf are the work of their respective teams.
08Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Changes don't apply retroactively to purchases you've already made. Questions? Reach us on Discord.
